Education Grants

Students who are under any of the funding schemes (SDF, NTUC-SEP or Self-Help Groups) are to attain at least 75% attendance per module and sit for all examinations, failing which they will not be eligible for the supported fees.

Students who are under funding who are attending classes must sign their attendances at all times. The signatures in the attendance must be consistent for all classes. Inconsistent signatures will result in students not receiving funding for the course.

Change of employment during the semester is not advisable for students. However, if students are to change employment, they can only do so after their semester has concluded, due to WDA funding guidelines.

Funding applications submitted with incomplete supporting documents will be rejected.

For SDF-funding, the Institute will invoice the sponsoring company for the supported amount. In the case of NTUC-SEP students, the invoice will be directed to the students.

In accordance to WDA Section 5.1(d): Trainee(s) repeating training in the same course will not be eligible for further Training Assistance.

In the event where the eligibility criteria is not fulfilled, course completion terms and conditions not satisfied or the funding is not approved, the student will be liable to pay MIS Business School for any uncollected amounts.
